Abstract：WiththedeepeningofChina-SriLankarelationsandtheadvancementoftheBeltandRoadInitiative，Sinhalalanguageprofesionalswithinterculturalcommunicativecompetenceareplyinganincreasinglyimportantoleinlanguageservicesand international exchanges.ThisstudytakesstudentsmajoringinSinhalaasitsresearchsubjectsandadoptsacombinationofquestionnairesurveysandliteratureanalysistoexplorethecurrntsiuationandchallenges incultivatingtheir interculturalcommunicative competence.DrawingonHofstedesulturaldimensionstheoryHal'shigh-ndlow-contextculturetheoryandthethdime sionalmodelofiterculturalcompetence（ognitive，ectiveandbehvioral）thepaprproposestargetedtacingstategiee findingsshowthatsudentshaveafoundationilanguageexpresionandculuralaitudes，butthereremainsoomforirovent inpragmaticsategis，uluraldapabilityndpracticallaingoos.Aodinglyispersuggstsiiing integration，eichinghigontextinput，ilingompeencerentedtrainngsystes，andimprovingevauationmehanissi ing toprovideboth theoretical groundingand practical guidancefor enhancing theinterculturalcompetenceof Sinhalamajors.
