Abstract:Theproliferationofdigital mediaandthegenerational shiftamongaudiencesinthenewerapresentbothexistential chalengesandiovativeimperativesfortesurvivalanddevelopmentoftraditionalteater,divenytemergencefnewedi andnewreceptiondemogapics.Thisaperwillxploretegionalculturalenceoftraditioaltaterfiingitsotioal conection withaudiences.Taking thecompetitionscriptYantai DiaryfromtheinauguralNationalPostgraduate"CulturalChina"DualCreationCompetitionasitsresearchsubject,thestudyanalyzeshowYantaiDiaryinnovativelyembodiestheQiluregionalculture bypersonifyngittroughdramaticcharacters.Byadaptinghistoricalnarativesandfolklegendsintotheatricalplots,andploing traditionaldramatictechniques,theplayexpresesthecoreconceptofthetrinityofthepeople,culture,andthcity.Thisapproach sekspathwaysfortheinovativeintegrationofQiluregionalcultureandtraditionaltheater.Tismodelofscriptcreation—featuring contemporaryexpressionsofregionalculturalsymbolshilepreservingtheinherentartisticDNAoftheform—offrsareference paradigm for the future regeneration of traditional theater through regional culture.
