Abstract:Given thatstudents insecondaryocational schols,they facenumerous challenges intheirmathematical studies afterentering vocationalschools.Thesechallenges includewidespreadnegativeattudestowardleaming,resistance tostudying,andmisconceptionsaboutthepracticalityof mathematics.These issuesnotonlyaffectnormalteachingactivitiesbutalsohaveadetrimentalimpactontheleaningof specializedcoursesandthesubsequenttransitiontohighervocationaleducation.This paper aims toanalyze the causes ofthese issues insecondaryvocationalschool students'mathematics leaning and explore strategies to stimulate their interest in learning mathematics.
