Abstract：“Movement of Going West"was the history of the movement ofpeoplewho migrated toInnerMongolia fromthe southofthe Great Wallin Shanxiand Shaanxi during theMing and Qing dynasties toeamaliving ortodobusiness，and wasahistoryofunityandstrugleofallethnic groupsThehistoricalexperienceofpopulationmigration inthe West Exit is reflected in：Theeconomic interdependence ofthe ethnic groups makes theinteraction betweenthe nomadiceconomyand the agrarian economy playamutuallyregulating andcomplementaryroletheculturalintegrationofthevarious ethnicgroupsenriches theexcellent traditional Chinesecultureandthe emotionalclosenessofthevariousethnic groups promotes their unity，mutualassistanceandharmoniouscoexistence.Asamodelofethnicunityandinteractionsexchanges，andintegration， the national spirit and culture contained still have practical value.
