基于范疇理論的大學(xué)英語(yǔ)翻譯研究
——以“思想”范疇為例
A Study on the Translation of College English Based on the Category Theory -Taking the Category of “Thought” as an Example

Abstract:Category theory plays an importantrolein Cognitivelinguistics.Exploring the translation processfrom theperspectiveofcategorizationhelpsbetterunderstandthecognitiveprocessoftranslation,hichbringsfreshnessinthetranslation research.This paper mainlystudies theexerciserelatedwithof“Thought"inthetextbook series NewHorizon College English printedbytheForeignLanguageTeaching and ResearchPressanalyzingtheirtranslations withthe guidance of Category thory.The studyproposesthattherearediffrentkeypointsinthethreestagesoftranslationcategorization:paying special attention to the non-linguisticcategorization inthe source languagecategory,using various transformation modes between languages,and reflecting thoughtfully in the target language category.

范疇理論自20世紀(jì)60年代發(fā)展以來(lái),已成為認(rèn)知語(yǔ)言學(xué)中的重要理論,被廣泛用于語(yǔ)言習(xí)得、詞義、句法、語(yǔ)用、翻譯、文學(xué)等方面的研究,在翻譯領(lǐng)域,不少學(xué)者用它探討翻譯的本質(zhì)、標(biāo)準(zhǔn)、原則等。(剩余4835字)
