Abstract:Through case studies,the practical application and value of BIM in the engineering design,construction and operation optimization of pipe networks were revealed.The key role of non-sequential dynamic programming algorithm intheoptimization oflarge-scalepipenetwork system wasdescribed.The algorithm could eficientlydivide thecomplex large pipe network into specific smallstructures,ptimize independently,and integrate these results to obtain the optimal solution of the entire pipe network.BIM played a crucial role in this process,with its real-time dataintegration anddynamic simulation capabilities ensuringaccuracyand eficiency in theoptimizationof steadystate operations of the pipe network.Practical case studies further confirmed the practical value of BIM in modern pipe network project management.The succesful application of the combination of BIM and dynamic programming and dichotomy inthe steady-state operation optimization of pipe network marks that pipe network engineering project management has entered a new stage ofdevelopment.
