Research on the shear adhesive performance improvement and application of dental restorative self-adhesive resin cement

Abstract:In order to beter test the influence of self-adhesive resin cements on the shear bonding strength of oral restorationmaterials,five repair metal materials,including titanium alloy,nickel-chromium alloy,TypeII gold alloy, gold-silver-palladium allyandmetal porcelaingoldalloy were selected tocompletethe casting of theunified standardspecimens.Theshearbond strength of metalmaterials fororalrestoration was effectively tested with the helpof auniversal material testing machine using sixself-adhesive resincements,including Maxcem,Unicem,Breeze,Biscem,Set,and ClerfilSAIuting,anda Resicem traditional resin cement.Theresults showed that the average shear bond strength of the above five metal materials was (10.2±5.4),(9.9±7.8),(2.6±1.9),(2.2±1.7)| and (204號 (5.0±2.3) )MPa,respectively.The shear bond strength formed by Breeze,Biscem,and ClerfilSAIuting in the titanium alloy and nichrome alloy groups was relatively high,which was much higher than that of other cements and the other 3 metal materials.Compared with other groups of resin cements,the self-adhesive resins Breze,Biscem,and ClerfilSAIuting produced higher bond strength for non-precious metals.
