Abstract:Using sodium alginate as the basic material,sodium carboxymethyl celllose and polyethylenimine as modified materials,a composite adsorbent that can adsorb heavy metal chromium was prepared.Static adsorption test and dynamic adsorption test werecarried out to study the adsorption performance of this composite adsorbent and its application effect inthelandfilleachate environment.The results showed that inthe static adsorption test,when the pH value of the solution was3 and the addition of composite adsorbent was 0.3g ,theremovalrate ofheavymetal chromium was 99.3% ,and the adsorption effect was good. In the dynamic adsorption test,when the packing height was11 cm and the inlet flow rate was 1mL/min ,the penetration time of the composite adsorbent was 54O min and the depletion time was 1 580min ,indicating that the adsorption effect is good. This composite adsorbent has an improved removal rate of heavy metal chromium in landfill leachate and exhibits good adsorption performance.
