Research of sand and stone wastewater treatment of water conservancy and hydropower projects based on flocculation and sedimentation combination technology

Abstract:Through the experimental study of the sand and stone wastewater treatment processof water conservancy and hydropower projects,an efective wastewater treatment method was discussd.The mechanical dewatering of sandandgravelwastewaterbycombining coagulantandflocculanttechnologycansignificantlyreduce theconcentration of suspended solids and COD(chemical oxygen demand).The results showed that when the mass concentrations of coagulant and flocculant were 1 g/L and 0.5g/L ,respectively,the removal rate of suspended solidsin wastewater reached more than 90% ,and the removal rate of COD exceeded 80% . The treated wastewater was also precipitated and filtered to further improvethe purification efect of water quality.The wastewater treatment process proposed in this study hasgood application prospects and economic benefits,and can provide a reference for wastewater treatment in water conservancy and hydropower projects
