Determination of Metal Element Migration in Food Contact Ceramic Products by Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry

Abstract: An analytical method for the simultaneous determination of 22 metal element migrations in food contact ceramic products by inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry was developed. 4% acetic acid was used as food simulantand injected by filing method.Threemigration experiments were carried out,and the third sample was taken for determination.The correlationcoeffcients of the linear regression equations were greater than 0.999, the relative standard deviation of precision was all ?5% ,and the recoveriesranged from 91% to 102% .The method is fast,reliable and sensitive,and can be widely used in therapid detection of metal migration in ceramic products.
