Abstract：Diarrhealiitablebowelsyndrome（IBS-D）belongs tothecategoryof traditionalChinese medicine“diarrhea”and “abdominal pain”.Atpresent，western medicine hasnoradical cure，but Chinese medicine hasremarkablecurative efectinits treatment.Inrecentyears，numerousstudieshaveshownthatthereisanobjectiverelationshipbetweenlung，spleenandintestine. Basedonthis，thispaperinovativelyputsforwardthelung-splee-intestinalaxis teory，suggestingthatthetreatmentof-D shouldadoptthethreemethodsofsuplementing，propagatingandclearing，andtakeintoaccountthethreeaspectsofstrengthening thespleen，regulatingthungandregulatingtheintestie，soastoprovidenewtheoreticalguidanceandtreatmentideasforeteat ment of this disease.
