[Abstract] Theapplicationof virtual realitytechnology in the teaching reformof physical education information in colleges anduniversities can stimulate students'learning motivation,promote convenient communication between teachers and students,enhance students'learning experience,stimulate students'innovative thinking,and help the implementationof personalized teaching.At present,virtualrealitytechnologyfaces manydificulties intheteaching reformand applicationof physical education information in coleges and universities,specifically manifestedas the lack ofdigital physical education teaching system,the lack of targeted physical education teaching content,the imperfect functionof teaching platform,and the lackofsystematic training for teachers and students inoperation.Basedonthis, in the practical proces, measures can betakenfrom the following aspects: Firstlysystem construction,itonstructs digital physical education teachingmodules;Secondly,itimproves the content,enrichesthe teaching resources with the helpofvirtual realitytechnology;Thirdly,it buildsa platformandutlizes virtual realitytechnologytocarryout skillstraining;Fourthly,itstrengthens thepracticeandconstructsasientificallysoundmechanismforteachrandsdent training. Throughthese measures,itcanbetterimprove theaplicationeffectof virtualrealitytechnologyinthe teaching reform of physical education informatizationin collegesanduniversities.
