[Abstract]Objective: To explore the impact of early family-intensive behavioral intervention based on the verbal behavior milestone assessment and placement program (VB-MAPP)on the verbal behavior of children with autism spectrum disorder.Method:A total of 80 eligiblechildren with autism spectrum disorder admitted to the Department of Child Care of Shangrao Maternal and Child Health Hospitalfrom January 2022 to January 2024 were randomly divided into two groups, 40children were trained in early education institutions orother special institutions as the control group,and 40children were trained in early family-intensive behavioralintervention based onVB-MAPPastheobservation group.Theintervention lasted for 4months inboth groups.The relevant data and VB-MAPP scoresof the two groups were statisticallcollected.Result:There were no significant diffrences in children gender,children age,familyage andfamilyeducation levelbetweenthetwo groups (P>0.05).The proportion of children with averagefamilytrainingtime ≥20hours per week in the first 2 months and thelast 2 months in the observation group werehigher than those inthe control group,the diferences were statistically significant ( P <0.05).Beforetheintervention,therewerenosignificant diferences inthetotalmilestone score,naming,request and listener response scores between the two groups ( P>0.05 ), and after the intervention, the total milestone score, naming,request andlistenerresponse scoresoftheobservation group werebetterthanthose inthecontrol group,the differences were statistically significant P <0.05). Conclusion: Early family-intensive behavior intervention based on VB-MAPP can improve VB-MAPP scores and help improve children's language behavior.
