Abstract：Focusingontheinfuence mechanismofcollgeanduniversitycounselors’hearttoeartalksefectiveness，amultiden sionalanalysisfameworkwasonstructedbasdothemodelofig5personalityraitsUsingamixed-methodsapproachcombiingquestionnaire surveysand in-depth interviews，a stratified sample of 1，218 students from 7 colleges and universities in southern Jiangsu was surveyedResultsowdsigatdfrecsionesatiiessogouelorsitfetpersoalitritseta fectscommuatioitieeablssssgstiocptasesssusfluppmetatio cismrelatestoovesatiosabilitydoespromotsikingexpasiDtialalysislsvealedigiicantoee encediferencesregardingstudentgender，grade，andmajor.Basedontheempiricalfindings，twoimprovementpathsareproposd：first， implementingpesoalitdapatiostategisateidiiualouselorlevelfocusingoaningotioalanageetbild openthinkingthougheloitieent；scodstablsinpsoalitybitansatteersityagtleel， andbuilding asupportsystemencompasingcommunicationskillstraining，MBSRworkshops，andefectivenessfeedbacksystems.
