Abstract:Thestabilityofopenpitslopesisdirectlyrelatedtothesafetyofpersonnelandequipmentinandaroundopen pitmines.Usingthelimitequilibriummethod,astudywascarriedoutonthestabilityofanopenpitmineunderdiferent workingcondions.Theresultsshowthattheslopedoesnothavetheposibilityof planar,wedge,ordumping type,andthe posibledamage modesof slopesinthe curentopen pit mining sitecanbeassumedtobecompositeorfoldingtype.Thesafety coeficientsunderthecombinedworkingconditionsofself-weight,groundwater(heavyrainfall,blastingvibrationforceand seismicforcesatisfythelimitsofoverallstabilitysafetycoeficientsoflassIslopesandthelimitsofoverallstabilitysafety coeficientsofClass IIslopesspecifiedinthecurrntspecifications,andthereisacertaindegreeofsafetyreserve.Italso carriesoutcrackmonitoring,surfacedisplacementmonitoring,blastingvibrationmonitoring,rainfallmonitoringandgroundwater level monitoring to further guarantee the stability of open slopes.
