Marxist View of Civilization and the Chinese Path to Modernization

Abstract:The Chinese Path,as thepractical approach to Chinese-style modernization,is closelyrelated to and scrutinized by the view of Marxist on civilization. The transformation from national history to world history is a great leap forward in the development of human society, bringing about a turning point from regional civilization to world civilization,and from traditional civilization to modern civilization. Modern civilization is predominantly shaped by the West, and has a profound impact on the development process and overallpicture of human civilization, which is marked with distinctive Western characteristics. However, moderncapitalcivilization is not eternaland abstract,andit has explicit historical boundaries in its existence.During its global expansion phase,it is confronted with internal crises,and the limits of its development have exposed its inherent defects and limitations.Ever since the very beginning,the Chinese Path has coexisted with modern capital civilization and broken through its hegemonic system, it shows a practical path of a new style of civilization, and promotes the progress and diversified development of human civilization.
