[Abstract]ObjectiveTo investigate theefectof visualfedbackcombinedwithcorestabilization trainingonfunctionalrecoveryaftertoracolumbarcompresionfractureinelderlypatints.MethodsAtotalof110elderlypatientswithtoracolumbarcompressionfracturesadmitedtoJngningHospitalAfiliatedtoNanjinMedicalUniversityfromAugust222toDecember3weree lectedbyconvenentsamplingmethodanddividedintotwo groupsacordingtorandomnumbertable,with55casesineachgroup.The controlgroupastreatedwithroutineintervention,andtheobservationgroupwastreatedwithvisualfedbackcombinedwithcoretabilizationtraining.Paindegree,lumbarfuction,balancefunction,activitiesofdilylivingandqualityoflifeofthetwogroupswere measuredbefore interventionand3monthsafterintervention.ResultsVisualanalogscale(VAS),swestrydisabiltyidex(OD), Bergbalancescale(BBS),instrumentalactivityofdailylivingscale(IADL),gaitanalysisparametersandgenericqualityoflifeinventory(GQOL-74)scoresofthetwogoupsbforeinterventionwerecompared,therewasnostatisticallysignificantdifernce( P> 0.05).After3monthsofintervention,VASscoreandODIscoreintheobservationgroupwerelowerthanthoseinthecontrolgroup ( P<0.05 ),whileBBS score,IADLscore,gait analysis parametersand GQOLI-74 score intheobservation group were higher than those in the control group ( P<0.05 ). Conclusion Visual fedback combined with core stabilization training can promote postoperativepainrelief,lumbarfunction,balancefunction,actitiesofdailylivingandqualityof ifeinelderlypatientswithtoracombar compression fractures.
