[Abstract]ObjectiveTosystematicallevaluatetheefectsof Virtualreality（VR）onbalanceforolderadults living in nursinghomes.MethodsRandomized ControlledTrialsabouttheefectsofVRonbalanceforolderadultsliving innursinghomes weresearchedfromPubMed，WebofSience，Embase，PhysiotherapyEvidenceDatabase，CochraneLibrary，CNKI，WanFang，VI andSinoMeddatafromdatabaseestablishmenttoNovember1，2023.Themeta-analysiswasconductedusingRevMan5.4software. ResultsFinally，14studieswereincludedwithatotalsamplesizeof58cases.Meta-analysisshowedthatVRinterventioncould shortenthetimeof imedupandgotest，prolongedthetimeofonelegstandtest，enhancedthescoreofbergbalanescale，iproved gait，strengtenedlowerlimbmusclestrengthandreducedfearoffalinginteelderly.However，osignificantefectsof walking speed.ConclusionVirtualrealitytechnologyhasobviousefectsonbalancefunction，lowerlimbmusclestrength，andfearoffaling of the elderly in nursing homes，but the effects on walking speed are unclear and still need further research.
