AbstractBasedonteKigingiterpolatiotod，spatialiterpolatioaspfodusingprecipiatiodatafo89eteoloicalsta tionsandemperatuedatafrom222meteorolgicalstatiosinNanchongCitytoanalyeteightemperatureanddoughtweatherdurigte floodseason（MaytoSeptember）inNanchongCityin22Teprecipitationiterolationfitigresultserevalidatedusing63epreta tive meteorologicalstatios.Theresultsshowedthatduringthefloodseasonin222，theoverallclimateofNanchong Cityshowedrendof hightemperatureandlitlein，ih15stiosbakingteistoicalcodfordailymaxiumtemperaturead23statiosbeaking e historicalrecordforaveragetemperature.Thenumberof hightemperaturedayswastehighestinhistorysince1959，withawideoverage longdurationdgintesitofghtmperure，llofchereaeistyyinteplatigteeregeofbolpiiati on，itouldbecocludedthatthrewillevaingdegresofdroughtinNanchongCitduringthefooseasoofO.Thedroughtaa， mild，moderate，and severe drought areas in August were the largest，accounting for 85.08% ， 30.57% ， 40.01% and 12.92% ，respectively. The particularly severe drought area was the largest，accounting for 9.26% ，in July，and the drought situation was the lightest in September. 63representativemeteorologicalstatioswithpreipiatioaoalypercentagandftingvaluesfromJunetoAugust222wereselectedfor comparative analysis. The correlation was good，especially in Julyand August when drought was severe，with R2 values of 0.857 9 and 0.7797，espeieleigiicaestfOOsssd，ncatigtatthigingiteplatimethdandfooht nitoring in Nanchong area.
