Effect of Multi-walled Carbon Nanotube Rooting Medium on the Growth of Strawberry Virus-free Seedlings

AbstractObjective]Toestablishastrawberytisueculturesystembasedoncarbonnanotubemediu.[MethodThistudyusedHongyan’strawberseexpietalmaterialtoexploetheifueneofulti-alldarbnoubeoigddifntota tions (25,50 and 100mg/L )onthe growth of strawbery tisue culture seedlings,and observed the growth of adventitious roots.[Result]The results showedtataddingulti-walledcarbonnanotubes tothestrawberryotingculturemedmsignificantlyimprovedtecalduction rate. Compared with the control group, 50mg/L multi-walled carbon nanotube rooting medium had the best efct, increasing the height of virus-free seedlings by 27.1% ,the total root length by 83.4% ,the total root volume by 163.8% ,and the number of root tips by 70.1% .Microstructuralobservatiosevaledthattheuli-walldarbnnaotubseeabsobdotesufceofthdventitiousosnddidotg glomerate inside them.The survival rate of transplanting after acclimatization was above 95% ,and the young seedlings grew well. [Conclusion] In this study,a multi-walled carbon nanotube rooting medium ( 50mg/L )suitable for strawberry tissue culture was selected to provide technical support for the application of carbon nanomaterials in strawberry propagation.
