AbstractTo improve the quality of agricultural meteorological services provided by grassroots meteorological departments,thecurrentstatus ofthe basicapplicationofsatellteremote sensing technology wasanalyzed ingrassroots meteorological departments,and its specificapplication in modern meteorological services was explored.In termsof application status,itis necessaryto further identifyandanalyze monitoringobjects,accuratelylocate monitoring targets through product stacking,algorithm optimization and adjustment,and other operations; multiple remote sensing model calculation methods and data sources need to becombined to improve monitoring accuracy.In terms ofapplication,it is mainly used in 3 aspects: meteorological disaster prediction,agricultural production services,and environmental monitorng.Among them,in termsof meteorological disasterprediction,itcan beusedformonitoring floods,geology, meteorology,forests,etc.,providingdatareferenceforfloodcontrolanddisasterrelief,geological disasters,drought monitoring,forest fireprevention,etc.Interms of agricultural productionservice monitoring,itcan be used for crop growth pest and disease,yield evaluationandother monitoring,helping toreverse the growth parameters ofcrops,reduce economic losses caused by pests and diseases,and calculate crop yields.In terms of ecological environment monitoring, it can beused for monitoring atmospheric environment,waterpollution,solid waste,etc.,to helpaccuratelyassess the air qualityand evaluate waterqualityintheregion.Thisarticle provides references fortheapplicationofsateliteremote sensing technology in modern meteorological services.
