AbstractTo analyze the effct of intensive curing process on underripe and overripe tobacco leaves，tobacco leaf XiangyanNo.5wasused asmaterial inthis experiment，thesingle factor testofcuringunderrpeand overipe tobacco leaves in diffrent parts was designed，the energy consumptioncost ofroasting，economic properties of tobacco leaves and conventional chemical componentsof tobacco leaves were determined in the intensive roasting process treatment （T underripe，Toverie）and the conventional roasting processtreatment （CK underripe，CKoverripe）.The results showedthat there was no significant difference in energy consumption cost between T underipe and CK underripe. Compared with CK underrip，the proportion of fine tobacco under Tunderipe increased by O.43-4.92 percentage points，and the average price increased by O.19-0O.6O yuan/kg.The starch content in the middle andupper leaves of T underripe treatment was 0.45-0.5O percentage points lower than that of CK underipe.Intensive curing technology couldreduce the energy consumption cost of overipe tobacco.The proportion of fine tobacco under Toverripe treatment was O.69-5.71 percentage points higher than that under CK overripe，and the average price was 0.10-0.53 yuan/kg higher.The starch content in the middle and upper leaves of Toveripe treatment decreased by 0.52-0.82 percentage points compared with CK overipe.In summary，the intensive curing processof underripe and overripe tobacco is conducive to improving the economic properties oftobacco leaves，improvingthe chemical composition of tobacco leaves，and realizing theaccurate control of the baking process of underipe and overripe tobacco leaves， which provides a reference for the intelligent baking.
