Abstract: This paper takes theculturalcognition theoryas thecornerstoneanddeeplyexploresthesynergistic developmentrelationshipbtweennetwork buzwordsandtheChineseculturalmechanism.Byextensivelycollectingvarious examplesofnetwork buzzwordsandusingtheliteratureresearchmethodtosortoutrelevanttheoreticalachievements,acomprehensiveandin-depthanalysis iscarriedoutfrommultipledimensiossuchaslanguage,cultureandocietyeeseachontentcovestheharacteristasification,adfoanhasofetwrkbzzods,nddplyeavatesthclentuluraloucatiofctosad therein.Theresultsshowthatnetworkbuzwordsareformedandspreadbyvirtueofcharacteristicssuchasnoveltyconcisess,nd timeliness,andtroughvariousformssuchashomophonicpunsandabbreviatios.IthaspositivesignificanceinpromotingtheinherianceanddevelopmentofChineseculture.ItnotonlyhelpstheinnovativeexpresionofChineseculture,butalsodrawscootationsfromitanddvelopstogetherwithChinesecultureinsocialinteractions.Thus,itisconcludedthatnetworkbuzzwordsadthe Chineseculturalmechanismarecloselyconectedandmutuallreinforcing.Thispaperprovidesasolidtheoreticalsupportandprac ticalreferencesforexploringteordinateddevelopmentofthetwo.Ialsohelpstoimprovelearners‘a(chǎn)ppreciationofpopularwords and culture in middle school English teaching.
