Abstract： Nostalgia is asignificantthemeinPan Ling'snovels，serving notonlyasadrivingforceforthe authorscreationbut alsoreflectinghisuiqueunderstandingofthemultiethiccoexistenceinhishometown，unnan.Tispaperexaminsthostalgia writinginPanLingsnovelsfromthreedimensions：theself-being，self-awareness，andself-making.Fromtheself-beingdiension ofnostalgia，PanLngportraysaomelandofultiethicsbiosis，iglighingtheclectiveawarenssofomelandonstuctioIn theself-awaesmsiolosstcalratitteethsaleprsingllitiy of theChinesenation.Intheself-makingdimension，hefocusesondepicting multiethnic lifescenes toconstructashareddiscourse paradigmof the Chinesenation.Therefore，PanLingsnostalgia writingpossesssunique value，oferingnewperspectivesforethnic minority literature and providing significant insights into forging the sense of community for the Chinese nation.
