Abstract：Theresearch focusesonthefieldofrural sportsinthesportsdisciplinesystemwith Chinesecharacteristicsinthe newera.Focusingonthehigh-qualityacademic literatureoncontemporaryruralsportsinChinacolectedbyChina，theresearch usesthevisual analysis functionsof China Knowledge NetworkandCiteSpacetogenerate four visual knowledge maps，including keywordclustermapsandkeywordtimelinelinemaps，andinterpretandanalyzethem.Theresearchbelievesthattheoveal evolutionofruralsportsresearchcanbedividedintofourtimeperiods-the"lukewarm"periodfrom199to2O08，the"slow growth"periodfrom2009to2016，andthe"gradualrise"periodfrom2017to2022，andthe"spurtgrowth"periodfrom2023 to2024.Ruralrevitalizationstrategy，ruralsportstourism，andruralsportsindustryarethethreemajorthemesofcurrntural sportsresearch.Therefore，theresearchteamproposedthefolowingfutureprospects-"ruralsportsplusPartybuildingleadership"， "rural sports plus Chinese modernization" and "rural sports plus people's feelings."
