Abstract：Theoverturingprotectiondeviceisinstalledonthetopoftheroadtankerfordangerous liquidgoods transportationto protectthetopatachments.Thecurrentnationalstandardsstipulatethatthedeviceshouldbeabletowithstandtherequirementof"the inertiaforceoftwiceeicle'stotalasulildyeavitatioalaceleratio"，uttheisespodgstaadtet method，andtereisarthofelevantresearchina.Iniewofisspaperpropoestrengthtestmetodfotaertuingprotectiondevicesbsedontheanalsisofrloveracidentcharacteristicsndthstrcturalharacteristsofthevice，adco ductedcomparativeverificationtroughsimulationTeactualtestresultsareininewithtesimulationresults，indicatingtatetest methodisfeasibleaccurateandectiItabectielyvaluatetestrengthofteoverturngprotectiodeviceandasfillethe industrygaptoacertainextent，andisexpectedtoprovide technicalsupportforthestandardizeddevelopmentoftheindustry.
