Abstract： Methods： The tactical stage of outstanding badminton men and singles players in the world adopts literature data method，video observation method and mathematical statistics method.Results：1） From the perspectiveof the overall competition，the importance of each tactical link inthe badminton men's singlescompetition is limited stage ability> receiving andreceiving stage ability>limited stage ability>multi-beatstage ability.From the perspectiveof each stage，theimportanceoftacticalabilityinhquarter-fial，thelargestinhesmi-final，andtheimportanceoftactical abilityin the final was moderate.Therestriction phase is the first important tactical stageofthe threecompetition stages; the starting and receiving phase graduallydecreases as the competitionstage deepens.2） Under the result of path analysis， thereare interaction efects between thetactics of each stage，andthe direct efect and indirect effects jointly have an impact on te victory of the game.Overall therestriction phase affected te most in interaction with other tactical stages; inthefinal，the most inthestalematerestrictionphase.From the perspectiveofeach stage，thelargest direct efect，the seconddirecteffct，thesmallestdirecteffctofthesemi-final，thelargestdirectefctofthefinal.Theresultsofthe study， players and coaches have some reference and practical guiding significance in training and competition.
