Abstract：The Japanese men's team is China's main competitor.Analyzing the scoring strength of each event of the opponent team and the advantagesand gaps with China is of significant importance for improving the overall performance of China's men's gymnastics team.This studyconducted a detailed analysis ofthe results ofthe men's team competition between China and Japan at the two World Championships in the Paris Olympic cycle using research methodssuchas literaturereview，videoobservation，andmathematical statistics.Theresultsshowedthat：（l）the strength of the men's team competitionbetween China and Japan is not significantly different，and both have the ability to win the championship.The key to winning lies in reducing competition errors and improving landing stability. （2） Thereare signs of adecline in the leading capabilities ofboth countries'advantageous projects. （3） China has made many mistakes in landing stability， while Japan has shown significant improvement. （4）The factors contributing to the defeat include： the division offorces leading toa significant reduction in overall diffculty，a weakening of the lead on the parallelbars，two major mistakes inthehorizontal bars，andahugededuction ofpoints dueto insuficientlanding stability.
