Abstract：AdvancedPlantPhysiologyisanelectivecourseforgraduatestudents.ByincorporatingtheO-AMASteaching modelintothecoursebasedonitscharacteristics，anddesigningideologicalandoliticaleducationwithinthecuriculumitnot onlypracticestheOBE（Outcomes-BasedEducation）teachingphilosophybutalsofulflltheroleof"cultivatingvirtuethrough specializedknowledge"inprofessionalcourses.Thisteachingmethodnotonlylivensuptheclasroomatmosphere，increases studentparticipation，stimulatesstudentsintrinsicmotivationforlearning，butalsoenhancestheirlearningeficiency，thus effectivelyachievingthecourseobjectives.Thoughtheaplicationofthismodelinideologicalandpoliticaleducationwithithe course，rigorousscientificatitudes，dialecticalthinking，andcoresociaistvaluesareintegratedintotheteachingofspecialized knowledge，playing a significant role in nurturing students.
