Study on Optimization of Low-Carbon City Development Path in Nanning City Based on Best - Cities Model

Abstract:Against thebackdropofactivelyaddressngclimatechangeand promoting low-carbon economicdevelopment globally,thelow-carbontransformationofcitieshasbecomeakeyissue.UsingtheBest-Cities model,thecurrentcarbon emissions situation,policy implementation botlenecks,and low-carbon transformationpotentialof Nanning ityare analyzed,inordertobetterselecturbanlow-carbondevelopmentpolicies.ThedatashowsthatinO23,thetotal greenouse gas emissions in Nanning city amounted to 50.4432 million t CO 2e .The research results identifies the key areas and main challngesoflow-carbondevelopmentinNanningcity,andsreensoutsuitablelow-carbondevelopmentpolicies tobuilda low-carbon city and promote sustainable development.
