Research on the Influencing Factors and Synergistic Treatment of Ozone Oxidation Degradation of Organic Pollutants in Wastewater

Abstract:To improve wastewater treatment efciency,this studyanalyzed the influencing factorsand synergistic treatmentefectofozoneoxidationdegradationoforganicpollutants in wastewater.Bysystematicallanalyzing theeffects of keyparameters such as pH value,temperature,and ozone dosage on the degradation efficiency of organic matter,this study explores thechanges in Chemical Oxygen Demand(COD)removalrate,chromaticity reductionrate,andpollutant mineralizationdegreeunderdiferentreactionconditions.The experimentalresults indicatethat whenthepHvalue is8.5, the removalratesofCODandchromaticityreachtheirhighestlevels.Thesynergisticeffectsofozone with Ultraviolet (UV) and H2O2 were investigated,leading to the establishment of three synergistic oxidation systems: ozone/UV,ozone/H ?2O2 ,and ozone/catalyst.Thesesystemssignificantlyimprovedtreatment eficiencyandcanprovideatheoreticalbasis forpractical engineering applications.
