【Abstract】Objective To study the interaction between blood flow indexes of fetal middle cerebral artery (MCA)andumbilical artery(UA) measuredbyultrasoundand plasma HIF-1,and toevaluate itsdiagnostic value forfetal intrauterine distressMethodsAtotalof1OO pregnant women withfetal distressinthe thirdtrimester who came to our hospital from January 2023 to March 2O24 were selected as the research group.Another 95 pregnant women who underwent prenatal check-ups at our hospital during the same period were selected as the control group.The fetal MCA and UA blood flow parameters (RI,PI,S/D) were measured bycolor Doppler.The serum level of HIF-1α in pregnant women was determined by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay.Results Compared withthe control group,the RI,PIand S/D values of MCA blood flow in the fetusesof the study group were all lower t=4.381 , 5.699, 7.755, all P <0.001). Compared with the control group,the RI, PI and S/D values of UAblood flow in the fetuses of the study group were all higher( t= -4.270,-4.851,-7.639,all P<0.001 ) Compared with the control group,the serum HIF-1α level of pregnant women in the study group was higher( t= 47.361, P<0.001 ). The RI, PI and S/D values of MCA blood flow in the fetuses were negatively correlated with the serum HIF-1α level of pregnant women r=-0.512 ,-0.460,-0.423,all P<0.001 );theRI,PI and S/D values of UA blood flow in the fetuses were positively correlated with theserum HIF-1α level of pregnant women r= 0.514, 0.673, 0.489,all P <0.001).ConclusionFetal MCA,UA blood flow parameters and pregnant women's serum HIF-1α have certain diagnostic value for fetal distress.
