[Abstract] Objective： To explore the clinical efficacy and safety of mechanical thrombectomy （MT） combined with intra-arterial thrombolysis （IAT）inthe treatmentof acute ischemic stroke （AIS），and to evaluate itssuperiorityover MTalone.Method：A total of1OO patients withAISwho metthe indications of endovascular treatmentadmited tothe ThirdDepartmentof Neurology，JiamusiCentral Hospital fromFebruary2O21toFebruary 2022 were selected，and they were randomlydivided into the observation group （n=5O）and the control group （ n =50）. The control group was given intravenous thrombolysis，while the observation group was given MT combined with IAT.The total effectiverate，the proportion of modified thrombolysis grade for cerebral infarction （mTICI）≥grade 2b immediately after treatmentand 3 weeks after treatment，the scores of NIHSSand stroke specific qualityof life scale（SS-QOL）of two groups were compared.Result： After treatment，the total effective rate and the proportion of mTICI ≥grade 2b immediately after treatment and 3 weeks after treatmentin the observation group were higher than those inthe control group，after treatment，NIHSS score was lower thanthatin the control group，and SS-QOL score was higher than that in the control group （P<0.05） .Conclusion：MTcombined withIAThasa definite effect inpatients with AIS，which can increase the proportion ofmTICI≥grade 2b，and improve neurological functionand qualityof life.
