Risk Assessment of Hail Damage at Different Growth Stages of Flue-Cured Tobacco in Fujian

Abstract： Therisofhaildamage wasasssedbasedondaysofhailoccurrence，tbacoplantingarea，eectiveleafnumberand insurancecompensationcoeficientinFujian.Thehaildamageriskindexwascalculatedwiththeriskofhaildamage，tobacofeld exposure，andtobaccoplant vulnerability.Thehaildamageriskassessment wascariedoutforfivegrowthstagesof tobacco， includingrootetesioperodigorosgowthriod，earlyaturitypriodiddleatritypiod，dlateaturityde results showedthat therisklevelofFujiantobaccoduring thevigorous growth periodandearlymaturityperiod was higher，adthe exposure levelofhaildamage intheborderareabetwensouthernNanpingandnorthemLongyan was higher.Thevulnerabilitylevel of tobacco plants duringthe vigorous growthperiodandearly maturityperodwasalsohigher.Theriskofhaildamage fromhighto lowisintheorderof vigorousgrowth period>earlymaturityperiod>middle maturityperiod>root extensionperiod>lateaturity period.The vigorous growth periodandearly maturity periodare high-risk periods for hail damageandhigh vulnerablty，sothe disaster prevention measures needs to be strengthened atthese stages.Thecomprehensive hail damagerisk in the whole growth periodis mildandthe moderateandabovehaildamageriskareaislocatedintheborderareaofFujianandJiangxiProvince，othe layoutof flue-cured tobacco planting should be properly optimized.
