Effects of Comprehensive Intervention of Holographic Ear Acupoints on Sleep Quality inElderlyPatientswith ChronicHeartFailureand Insomnia

AbstractObjective：Toadoptacomprehensiveinterventionofbiological holographicearacupointsonelderlypatientswithchro nicheartfailure（CHF）andinsomnia，andaalyze itsimpactsonnegativeemotionsandslepquality.Methods：SixtyeightelderlyCHFpatients withinsomniaadmitedtotheGeriatricDepartmentofTaizhouHospitalofTraditionalChinese MedicinefromJanuary2023 to December2O24 wereselectedasthestudysubjects.Theywererandomlydividedintoacontrol groupandanobservation group，with34 patients ineach group，usingarandom numbertable method.Thecontrol groupreceivedroutinenursing intervention，hiletheobservationgroupreceivedcomprehensiveinterventionofiologicalholographicaracupointsonthebasisofthe controlgroupfor4consecutive weeks.Pitsburgh SleepQuality Index（PSQI）wasused tocompare the diferences insleepquality，sleep timeand sleep eficiencybetweenthe two groups.The Hamilton Anxiety Scale（HAMA）and Hamilton Depression Scale （HAMD）wereused tocomparetheimprovement effctsof anxietyand depresion status beforeandafter intervention.And the treatment eficacyofthetwo groups werecompared.Resuts：Afterintervention，thePSQIscores，HMAscores，and HAMDscores of theobservationgroupweresignificantlylowerthanthoseof thecontrol group.Thesleptimeandslepeficiencyscoresof the PSQI scoresscaleintheoservationgroupwere significantlylowerthanthoseinthecontrolgroup，andthetotalefectiveateof theobservationgroupwassignficantlyhigherthanthatof thecontrol group.Therewasastatisticallysignificantdiferencebetween the two observation groups （ P<0.05 ）. Conclusion：Applying the comprehensive intervention measures of biological holographic earacupointstoelderlyCHFpatients with insomniacanefectivelyimprovetheir insomniasymptoms，ositivelyafecttheiregative emotions，and improve their sleep quality.
