Analysis of the Early Wake-Up Efect and Sleep Quality Improvement of Ganglioside Sodium Combined with Hyperbaric Oxygen on Patients with Coma after Craniocerebral Injury Surgery

AbstractObjective:Toinvestigate theefectSof ganglioside(GA)combined withhyperbaricoxygen(HBO)onearlyawakening anditsimpactsonslpqualityinpatientswithcomaaftercraniocerebralinjurysurgery.Methods:Atotalof89postoperativecomatosepatients with craniocerebral braininjuryadmited tothe Neurosurgery DepartmentofHuai'an 82nd HospitalfromJanuary 2019 to January 2O24 were selected as the study subjects.They were randomly divided into a control group( n=42 )and an observation group( n=47 )using a random number table method. The control group received routine postoperative management and GA treatment,while theobservation groupreceived HBOandGA treatment.The Pitsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI)was used to comparethechanges insleepqualitybeforeandafter interventionbetweentwogroups.Thechangesinbloodflowvelocity,awakeningtime,and neurologicalfunctionindicatorsbetweenthetwo groups werecompared.The incidenceof adverseevents wasalso comparedbetweenthetwo groups.Results:After treatment,theawakening timeof theobservationgroup wassignificantlyshorter thanthatof thecontrolgroup.Theintracranial midlecerebralartery(MCA)bloodflowvelocityoftheobservation grouppatients wassignificantlylowerthanthatofthecontrolgroup.ThePSQIscoresof theobservationgrouppatientsweresignificantlylower thanthoseofthecontrolgroup.Thebrain-derivedneurotrophicfactor(BDNF)levelsoftheobservationgrouppatients weresignificantlyhigherthanthoseofthecontrolgroup,andthecerebrospinalfluidnorepinephrine(NE)levelsweresignificantlylowerthan thoseof thecontrol group.Theincidenceofadverseeventsintheobservationgroupwassignificantlylower than thatof hecontrol group,and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant( P<0.05 ). Conclusion: GA combined with HBO treatmentforcomatosepatientsaftercraniocerebralbraininjurysurgerycansignificantlyshortentheawakeningtime,improve sleepquality,promoteneurological functionrepair,and hasgoodsafety.Itisworthyof clinical promotionandapplication.
