Observation of the Clinical Efficacy of Zaoren Amber Drink in Treating Refractory Insomnia

AbstractObjective：Toinvestigatetheclinicaleficacyof ZaorenAmberDrinkintreatingrefractoryinsomnia.Methods：Atotal of 500 patients withrefractoryinsomniaadmitedtoPingliang Traditional Chinese MedicineHospitalfromJanuary2O19 to January 2024 were selectedas the subjects and randomlydivided intoacontrolgroupandan observation group with 25O cases in each group，using arandom number table method.Among them，the control group receivedconventional Western medicinetreatment （Eszolamtablets）whiletheobservationgroupreceived Zaoren AmberDrink treatmentonthebasisof thecontrolgroup.The TCM syndromescores，sleepqualityand incidenceofadversereactions beforeandaftertreatmentwerecomparedbetweenthetwo groups. Results： Before treatment，there was no significant difference（ P>0.05 ）in the scores of traditional Chinese medicine syndromes（diffcultyinfalingaslep，easyawakening frommultipledreams）betweenthetwogroups；Aftertreatment，thetraditional Chinesemedicinesyndromescores intheobservation groupwere significantlylower thanthoseinthecontrolgroup，andthe diference between the two groups was statistically significant（ P<0.05 ）. Before treatment，there was no significant difference in sleep quality scores between the two groups（ P>0.05 ）； After treatment，the sleep quality of the observation group was significantly better than that of the control group，and the difference between the groups was statistically significant（ P<0.05， . The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was significantly lower at 10% （ 4.00% ）compared to the control group at 18% （ （ 7.20% ），and the difference between the groups was statistically significant（ P>0.05 ）. Conclusion：For patients with refractory insomnia，theuseofZaorenAmberDrinkcanacheveidealtherapeuticefects.Itcannotonlyefectivelyaleviatetheirtraditional Chinese medicine symptoms，but also improve their sleep quality with good safety.
