Research on the Impact of Data Element Aggregation on Urban Green Innovation: Based on the Quasi-Natural Experiment of Big Data Comprehensive Pilot Areas

Abstract:Green innovation is a key resource and a driving force for cities to achieve ecological sustainable development. This article is based on the construction of a big data comprehensive experimental zone as a natural experiment,this article takes the construction of a big data comprehensive experimental zone as the research object,and uses a double difference model to explore the impact of data element aggregation on urban green innovation. The research findings are as follows:The agglomeration of data elements can improve the green innovation level of pilot cities,and its impact is mainly realized through two paths, namely,enhancing the popularity of mobile communication networks and promoting the level of cultural development.Meanwhile,the urbanization level and the degree of industrial collaborative agglomeration further strengthen the positive effect of the agglomeration of data elements on urban green innovation. Heterogeneity analysis shows that in the eastern region,cities with a relatively high level of economic development and a greater degree of opening up to the outside world,the agglomeration of data elements has a particularly significant effect on improving the level of green innovation.Accordingly,this paper proposes suggestions such as accelerating the construction of a comprehensive big data experimental zone,promoting the popularization of mobile communication networks, improving the quality of urbanization development,and promoting cross regional data collaboration,in order to provide theoretical and practical references for the coordinated development of data element aggregation and urban green innovation.
