Abstract:Thereviewofreservoirfloodcontrolcapacityisakeypartofreservoirdamsafetyasessmentandiscrucial to ensuringthesafetyofreservoiroperation.Inviewofthecurentsituationthatthereisnomeasuredhydrologicaldatainthe GanlongRiverBasinwhereLaoyingtangReservoirisocated,basedonthemeasuredmeteorologicalandhydrologicaldatafrom thenearbyYanheMeteorologicalStationandGanlongRainfallStation,therainwaterandflodmethodisusedtocalculatethe designfloodatthedamsite,andcombinedwiththereservoirfloodcontroldata,thereservoirsflodcontrolcapacityis demonstratedandreviewed intermsofdamcrestelevation,flooddischargecapacity,downstreamriverimpactandsediment deposition.Theresultsshowthatthefloodcontrolcapacityofthereservoirmetstherequirementsofthedesigncode,andthe floodcontrolsafetyofthedamisratedasLevelA.Theresearchresultscanprovidedatasupportforthesafeoperationof reservoirsandtheformulationoffloodcontrolstrategies,andcanalsoprovidereferencefortheplaningandconstructionof reservoirs in mountainous areas.

水庫是農(nóng)業(yè)灌溉和人畜安全飲水重要的水資源存蓄與調(diào)洪載體,二十世紀(jì)六七十年代修建的水庫工程經(jīng)歷長時(shí)間運(yùn)行后,由于泥沙淤積、洪水沖刷等原因造成防洪能力下降、功能效益衰退,因此,需要定期對(duì)水庫防洪能力進(jìn)行安全復(fù)核,以確保水庫安全穩(wěn)定運(yùn)行[1-2]。(剩余5691字)
