Abstract：Thispapertakestheold boomunderthereplacementof Heishipu XiangjiangBridgeastheresearchobject，and analyzestheremainingfatiguelifeoftheboombyonthesteewiredamageinspection，statictensiletestandfatiguetestresults. Theresultsshowthattheresiduallifeofgrade3andgrade4corrodedsteelwireisreduedmore，andtheresidualfatiguelife of steel wire with rust grade 4 has been reduced by 20% .Parisformula is used to quantitatively introduce the theoretical residualfatiguelifeoffracturesteelwire.Thetheoreticalfatiguelifevalueagreeswellwiththetestfatiguelifevalue.Inthe actual testitems，theresidual fatigue lifeofcorosionstelwirecanbeevaluatedbymeasuringthecorosionpitparameters.
