Abstract:Thepreciseandstablecontrolofwaterflowduringtheloosening stageisapivotalaspectintobacco primary procesing,significantlyinfluencingthemoisturecontrolattedryinginletandultimatelythequalityofthefinishedtobaco shreds.Using productionbatchdatafromabrandatChenzhou CigareteFactory,thisstudyappliedPearsoncorelationanalysis, followedbytheextractionoftreeprincipalcomponentsusingPrincipalComponentAnalysis(PCA).Subsequentlymultivariate regresionmodelwasestablishedtocapturetherelationshipbetweenthewaterflowduringloseningandtheinletmoistureunder theinfluence of ambient temperature and humidity,achieving an R2 of O.873 with all Variance Inflation Factors(VIF) remaining below 1O. Validation results indicated an average error of 8.24% between the predicted and actual water flow during loosening, effectivelyenhancing theprecisionandstabilityofthiscontrolprocessacrossbatchesundervaryingenvironmentalconditions.
