Abstract：ThehistoryofwheatcultivationinHunancanbetracedbacktotheHanDynastyorevenearlier，andtheproductionareas aremainlydistributedintheDongtingLakeareaandthewestofXuefengMountains.Hunanisoneoftheearliestprovincesinthe countrytocautheatresearchiangi1，ingi2Xiang3iangi1iangi3ndoherwelloti havebeenbredsccsivelyandthetwo-linemethodsingwheathterosistchologyhasbeenfirstcreated，hichaslaeda positiverole inpromoting thedevelopmentofwheat productionandbredingnewvarietiesresistantoFusariumheadblight.What's more，Hunanhasmadegreatprogressintheresearchonwheatderivativefuntions，providingtechicalsupportforthedevelopment ofrelated industries，andanumberofdeepprocessing industryprojectsusing wheatasrawmaterialsarebecominganewdrivingforce forthe developmentofHunan's grain industryHowever，Hunanstillfaces some problems indevelopigwheatproduction，suchas insufcientscientificandtecnologicalsupport，unreasonableplantinglayoutandbackwardcultivationmanagementLookingforward tothefuture，uastillstaseiestintifeah，tainpoesaltifeahtiy outtheselectionandbreedingofnewwheatvarietieswithhighqualityandresistancetoFusariumheadbligt，plantunifedwheat varietiesithesmegion，andforulateprodctionstandardsintedvelopmentofhatproduction，andeateanetionin the development of Hunan's grain industry with open ideas and innovative thinking.
