Abstract:Inrecent years,the industrial developmentand extreme weather events pose multiple abiotic stresconditions to crop production,ichevrelyallengesfodecurity.Fuliccid(FA)santuralganicid,aatractedidespradti forits signifcantoleinaleviating abioticstresinplants.Tisarticlereviews theresearchprogress inFAregardingitspysical and chemical properties,preparation methods,andmechanisms of aleviating abioticstressinplantsand makesanoutlook onthe futureresearch directions.FAcansignifcantlyimprove thestressresistanceof plants through various mechanismssuch as actiating theantioxidantsytem,egulatingosmotic presue,promotingutrientabsotionandmodulatig pytohomone levels.tough studieshaveconfrmedtheroleofFAinplantstressresistance,thesynergisticeectsofFAwithotherplant growthregulators,the involvedsignalingpathways,andthemolecular mechanismsofregulatinggeneexpressionremaintobestudied.FutureresearchonFA shouldfocusonthefunctioingmechanism,optimiationoftheaplicationmode,anddevelopmentofefcientandstabledustrial production technologies,thereby promoting the widespreadapplicationofFA in sustainable agriculturalproduction.
