AbstractTo explore the effects of salt-alkali stress on the growth,development and physiological activities of Liliumdavidii var.willmottiae,different NaCl-NaHCO 3 combined stress concentrations were set,with concentration of 0 mmol/L(CK),50 mmol/L(T1),100 mmol/L (T2),and150 mmol/L(T3),respectively.The growth indicatorssuchas plant height andphysiological indicatorssuch as chlorophyllcontentat diferent growth stages (seedling stage,bud formation stage,flowering stage,semi-dead stage)under varioustreatments were determined.Theresults showed that withthe increaseof salt-alkali concentration,theplant height,stem thicknessand leaf length and widthof Lilium davidi var.wilmottie in thesame growth period graduallydecreased.Withthe extensionof the growth period,theleaf length of the CK treatment increasedmost significantly.The longitudinal diameterof bulbs in the semi-dead stage T1 was 31.55 mm,increasing by2.80%vs.CK.The transverse diameterof bulbs in T2 was 36.32 mm,increasing by 8.78% vs.CK.The circumdiameter of bulbs in T2 was 13.77 cm, increasing by 13.46% vs.CK.With the increase of salt-alkali concentration,theSODactivityofLilium davidiivar.willmottiae leaves in variousperiods,thePODactivityof leavesat the seedlingstage,budformationstage andsemi-dead stage showedatrend offirstincreasingandthen decreasing,and thechlorophyllcontentat the seedling stage,budformation stage and flowering stage showed a decreasing trend.In conclusion,salt-alkali stress has a certain inhibitory effect onthe growth and development of Lilium davidii var.
willmottiae.However,moderate stress(1OO mmol/L)was conducive to the enlargementof bulbsand theaccumulationof physiologicaly active substances.This article provides a reference for exploring the physiological mechanism of saltalkali tolerance of Lilium davidii var.willmottiae.
