【Abstract】 ObjectiveTo compare the reading results different automatic bone age assessment stware observe their clinical accuracyseparately.MethodsA total 145 plain DR films (93for men52 for women) the children'sleft wrist diferentagesfromamaternalchildhealthcarehospitalinXiamen wereselected, TW3 wasused as the bone age calculation method,artificial inteligence boneage assessment(AIBAA)-TW3 algorithmmodel(hereinafterreferrdtoasXiamenTW3method),Lianyingboneagestware(hereinafterreferedto as Lianying TW3 method),medical quasi-boneagestware (hereinafter referred toas medicalquasi-TW3 method) wereappliedrespectively,Oneseniorradiologist (referring toboneage)one pediatric juniorphysician trained in reading (general practitioner)performed boneage assessment compared the mean absolute eror (MAE) accuracy theresults.ResultsTheresults 145 plain DRradiographstheleft wristchildren different ages showed that the average absolute erorbetween the predicted bone age the gold stard reference bone age the AIBAA-TW3 algorithm model was O.84 yearsold,which was higher than that lianying,medical stard general doctor. The difference was statistically significant( P <0.05). When the error range was within ±2.0 years old, ±1.0 years old,±O.7 years old, ±0.5 yearsold,the accuracy the AIBAA-TW3 algorithm model in predicting bone age was 91.7% , 64.8% , 51.0% , 40.7% ,respectively,there were no significant differrence between lianying,medical stard, general physicians.ConclusionThe boneage prediction eror the AIBAA-TW3 algorithm model is higherthan that thegeneral doctor,medical stard, continuous bone age evaluation system.Still,there isno obvious diffrence between the AIBAA-TW3algorithm model thegeneral doctor different bone age evaluation systems in terms prediction accuracy.
