Abstract：Garciniaoblongifolia，asatraditionalLimedicine，notonlyhasanti-inflammatory，analgesic，anti-tumorand othermedicinalvalues，butalsoiswidelyusedinindustrialproduction，landscapingandotherfields.Inviewof thehighmedicinal valueandeconomicvalueofGarciniaoblongifolia，scholarsathomeandabroadhaveacumulatedsomeachievementsinitshemical composition，pharmacologicalactivityandmolecularbiologyThispapersummarizestheresearchresultsofediblemedicinalvalue， chemicalcomposition，pharmacologicalactivityandmoleularbolgyofGarciniaoblongifolia，indertoprovidereferenceforsubsquent efficacy development， resource protection and sustainable utilization.
