[Abstract]Objective： To explore the effect of acceptance commitment therapy in oral care of patients with head and neck malignant tumor radiotherapy.Method：A total of 84 patients withhead andneck malignant tumor radiotherapy admitted to the Oncology Department of Nanjing Gaochun People's Hospital from January 2022 to January 2024 were randomly divided into two groups， with 42 patients in each group.The control group was treated with routine nursing， andthe study group added acceptance commitment therapy on thebasisof the control group.Thedegreeoforal mucosa injury，psychological state，self-efficacy andqualityof lifeof thetwo groups were compaed. Result：The occurrence time oforal mucosal injury in the study groupwas later than that in the control group，and the degreeoforal mucosalinjury was lower than that in thecontrol group，with statistical significance （P<0.05） . After intervention， the scores of the Chinese version of depression anxiety and stress scale （DASS-21） in both groups werelower than those before intervention，the scoresof the Chinese version of the strategies used

by people to promote health （SUPPH）and the MOS item short form health survey （SF-36） werehigher than those before intervention，and the DASS-2lscores inthe study group werelowerthan thosein thecontrol group，SUPPH and SF-36 scores were higher than those of control group， the diffrences were statistically significant （ P <0.05）. Conclusion： Acceptance commitment therapy in oral care for head and neck malignant tumors radiotherapy can reduce the degreeoforal mucosainjury，regulate psychological state，and improve self-efficacy and qualityof life.
