[Abstract]Objective Toexploretheapplicationvalueofthe"sandwich"teaching system intheresidencytraining for urologicalresidents.MethodsBasedontheresidenttrainingmanagementplanofourhospital,atotalof22Ourological residentsundergoingclinicalrotationintheFirstHospitalof HunanUniversityofChineseMedicinefromNovember2022to September 2O24wereselectedforthestudy.Acording totheresidencyrotationrequirements,eachtrainingcyclelastedone month,andallresidentsinagivencyclewereconsideredasingleresearchgroup.Allresearchgroupswereequallydivided into twogroups (thecontrol groupand theexperimental group)byrandomsampling method,withatotalof22researchgroups. All residentswereunawareoftheirgroupasignments.Theexperimental groupwastaughtbythe"sandwich"teachingsystem, whilethecontrolgroupadoptedthetraditional teachingsystem.Aftertheteaching,questionnairesurveysandassssentswere conductedtoevaluatetheteaching efctivenessof both groups.ResultsTheassessmentscoresoftheexperimental group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P>0.05) .In terms of recognition of the teaching system, knowledge acquisition, engagemnt,improvementofself-learningabilityandenhancementofclinicalcompetence,theexperimentalgroupoutpefoed the control group ( P* >0.05).Conclusion The "sandwich" teaching model can improve the effectiveness of residency training in urology and is worth promoting in surgical residency training.
