[Abstract] Chinese medicine posits that "spleen deficiency leading to dysfunctionof esence distributionandendogenous toxicpathogens"isthepathogenesisofhonicareaichisalogoustolerativecolitis（UCcusedbymitopagiated feroptosis.BasedontheTCMtheoryof"analogyandimagery"，"spleendeficiencyleadingtodysfunctionofessencedistribution" corespondstocelularenergydeficiencyesultingfrommitophagy，while"endogenoustoxicpathogens"areakintoinflammatory reactiontrigeredbyferoptosis.Therefore，thispaperaims toexplorethemechanismofactionofTCMinregulatingmitophagymediatedferroptosisforthetreatmentofUC，basedonthetheoryof"spleen deficiencyleading todysfunctionof essence distributionandendogenoustoxicpathogens".Furthermore，ithasprovidedanin-depthanalysisoftheinterplayamong mitophagy ferroptosis，and UC，offering areliable basisand noveltherapeutic insights forthe modernizationof TCMresearch.
