Abstract: In traditional shipbuilding processes,segmented connections between the stern fairing and stern tube often induce out-of-roundness in the stern tubedue to welding deformation,leading to prolonged construction cycles and reduced precision.This study proposes an integrated post-boring process for the stern fairing and ster frame by analyzing assembly and boring methods fora 61Oo DWTbulk carrier.The approach mitigates welding deformation effects on stern tube accuracy,shortens construction timelines,and enhances economic efciency,offering a reference for similar shipbuilding workflows.
